HypeDuck Terms of Service
Last updated: August 3, 2026
1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of the HypeDuck website, dashboard, browser extension, and related services. By creating an account or using HypeDuck, you agree to these terms.
If you use HypeDuck on behalf of a business or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.
2. What HypeDuck provides
HypeDuck provides tools for discovering, organizing, analyzing, drafting, scheduling, and publishing creator content. Features may depend on third-party platforms, account type, plan, location, or platform approval status.
We may improve, replace, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary for security, reliability, legal compliance, or product development.
3. Accounts and connected services
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for protecting access to your HypeDuck account.
When you connect Instagram or Threads, HypeDuck uses the platform OAuth flow and acts only within the permissions you grant. You may disconnect a connected account at any time in HypeDuck Settings or remove HypeDuck from the platform account settings.
4. Threads publishing
HypeDuck publishes to Threads only after you connect your own Threads account and grant the required permissions. Immediate posts are published only after you enter or approve the content and click the publish action.
If you schedule a post, you choose and confirm both the content and publishing time. HypeDuck may then execute that already-authorized post at the selected time. You remain responsible for the content you publish and for compliance with Threads terms and policies.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use HypeDuck to violate law, infringe intellectual property or privacy rights, distribute malware, bypass platform safeguards, misrepresent identity, or send unlawful, deceptive, or abusive content.
You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to HypeDuck, other users’ accounts, connected platforms, or non-public systems and data.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of content you provide to HypeDuck. You grant us a limited license to process that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service and to perform actions you request.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to use and publish the content you submit.
7. Third-party platforms
Instagram, Threads, Google, and other third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies. HypeDuck does not control their availability, review decisions, account restrictions, or API changes.
We do not guarantee that a third-party platform will approve, publish, retain, or distribute any content.
8. Suspension and termination
You may stop using HypeDuck at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to prevent harm, enforce these terms, comply with law or platform requirements, or protect HypeDuck and its users.
Data deletion options are described on our Data Deletion page.
9. Subscriptions, cancellation, and refunds
Paid plans renew automatically each billing period until canceled. You can cancel at any time from Profile → Subscription. Canceling stops future charges; you keep access for the period you already paid for.
Right of withdrawal (청약철회). Within 7 days of the day service is supplied, you may withdraw and receive a 100% refund provided you have not yet consumed any credits. Once credits have been used, the value of the content is considered materially diminished and the deduction rules below apply instead. This follows the Content User Protection Guidelines (콘텐츠이용자 보호지침) Article 12.
Mid-term cancellation. After the withdrawal period, you may still request an immediate refund of the current billing period. The refundable amount excludes the portion already used, measured as the greater of (a) credits consumed in the period divided by credits granted for the period, and (b) days elapsed divided by days in the period. The result is capped at 100%, and the refund is rounded down to the nearest 10 KRW.
We do not charge the cancellation penalty of up to 10% of the remaining amount that the Guidelines (Article 19) permit. Only the used portion is deducted. Because no penalty is charged, we apply the greater of the two usage measures rather than a single one.
Example: on a 44,000 KRW monthly plan, 12 of 30 days elapsed (40%) and 320 of 1,000 credits used (32%), the higher figure (40%) is deducted and 26,400 KRW is refunded.
An immediate refund ends the subscription at once: plan features stop, remaining subscription credits are withdrawn, and future billing is canceled.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method immediately upon approval, within the 3 business days required by the Guidelines (Article 18). Your card issuer may then take a further 3–5 business days to post the credit to your statement.
Requests showing an unusual pattern — a prior refund within the last 90 days, or a payment of 100,000 KRW or more — are reviewed by a person before processing. We respond within one business day.
Separately purchased credit packs are not covered by this section; contact support for those.
10. Disclaimers and liability
HypeDuck is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted operation, specific audience growth, revenue, or platform outcomes.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HypeDuck is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service or a third-party platform.
11. Changes and contact
We may update these terms from time to time. The updated date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated when required.
Questions about these terms may be sent to support@hypeduck.ai.
